| I ran 7 miles on Saturday. I don't want to do that again, but I will have to and have to go even further! I think the only thing that kept me going was my iPod and the music I was listening to. I normally listen to a lot of secular stuff that is upbeat. This time I listened to some Brenton Brown, Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, Watermark and Hillsongs. I think that helped me mentally because it changed my attitude. I endured the 7 miles praising God the whole time:) | | |
| i think my roommate Jody is a good example of facing trials with joy. maybe its not the kind of joy that is a silly grin beaming from ones' face, but its more of a joy that is expressed through confidence in our God, in knowing He is in control and sharing that with others. She has a bunch of trials come with in the past week. Without a job, there is much uncertainty about the future, but what is most important is there is one certainty...God is the ultimate provider and will come through for her! And her testimony will be for His glory alone! | | |
| Stress, lots o stress. Up to the last minute, REALTORS hunting me down. Procrastinators flooding my voice-mail and e-mails. But now....silence :) With the occassional call of an agent who forgot to renew their license. At least I had less meanies this year. I think the agents are the uneducated/forgetful ones where the brokers who procrastinate during their renewal season, those guys act like divas and blame everything on you. Can't wait for 2008! I'll be offering a seminar called "filling out a scantron 101".... | | |
